- Internationally Educated Dietitians Pre-Registration Program (IDPP)
The IDPP program offered at Ryerson University in Toronto prepares Internationally Educated dietitians now living in Ontario, who have practiced in their country of origin, to gain experience that will assist them in obtaining practice registration. - Dietetic Canadian Experience Program
Langara College, in partnership with the Gerontology Nutrition Society, is offering a full dietetic internship program for applicants who have completed their dietetic degree credentials outside of Canada. For further information consult the website at www.langara.bc.ca/dietetics.
Internationally Educated dietitians, who have been assessed by a provincial dietetic regulatory body as requiring an internship or practicum program, must have an assessment completed by DC to determine academic equivalencies for internship application through the Dietitians of Canada Dietetic Internship Match. Those considering application to a DC accredited Masters Practicum program may also require a Dietitians of Canada assessment.
